Inscription.
This Clinker is placed here to honor our early Malvern clay and brick plants and the many workers they employed.

A Clinker is overfired molten clay. Too much heat caused the clay to fuse together and become distorted.

This particular Clinker is from Kopp Clay of Malvern. It was purchased by Dominick Cinson in 1969, and was donated to the Malvern Historical Society in 2009 by Joe Klekotta.
