Inscription. Dynamic and Cohesive civic leader, the late Mr. Ball an architect, was a guiding force in envisioning among other projects, the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, the air terminal complex and the three runway and taxiway system. No other single individual matched his efforts in developing the concept and coordinating the search for federal / city funding for airport improvement from the inception of the Oklahoma City Airport Trust in 1956.
