1. Township of Moore Marker
Inscription. The Township of Moore was incorporated in 1850 as part of the County of Lambton, and celebrated its 150th anniversary in the millennium year 2000. Prior to 1850, Moore Twp. was included along with Sombra Twp. as part of the original St. Clair District. On Jan. 1st, 2001 the townships of Moore and Sombra amalgamated forming the new St. Clair Township.
