1. U-Haul of “Downtown” Marker
Inscription. [First marker] Constructed in 1925 for the National Supply Company, this building was designed by architect A.M. Atkinson. This building is an exquisite example of the “Zigzag” Art Deco style of architecture. The land was originally purchased from the Creek Nation by W.F. Brown on March 24, 1903.

View of the building from the northeast. And, yes, that is a full-size U-Haul truck on the roof. It rotates and was placed there in 1978 to advertise the business, and has become a local landmark.
