1. "John Dehner" Marker

Inscription. With more than 100 credits, John Dehner shines as one of Hollywood's character actors. John started out in radio's hey day in the 1940's, and was even tested for many now famous roles that went into television which was losing its rating power. John was cast in nearly every T.V. show and feature western and non-western racking up a resume that was hard to beat. Just a few titles include "A Day of Fury", "Gunsmoke", The Virginian", "Cheyenne", "Wagon Train", "Man of the West", "The Fastest Gun Alive". John was in Kanab in 1957 filming "Revolt at Fort Laramie', with Gregg Palmer and Eddie Little Sky. John Dehner delivered the magic he had to every performance, never boring, top of his game every time. Kanab is honored to have him as one of our "Little Hollywood Heroes".

John Dehner (DAY-ner; born John Dehner Forkum; November 23, 1915 – February 4, 1992), also credited Dehner Forkum, was an American stage, radio, film, and television character actor. From the late 1930s to the late 1980s, he amassed a long list of performance credits, often in roles as sophisticated con men, shady authority figures, and other smooth-talking villains. His credits just in feature films, televised series, and in made-for-TV movies number almost 300 productions.
