1. James Green House Marker

Inscription. Constructed in about 1887 by the owner James Green, with brick from his own brick yard, the house is an early example of a house type most popular around 1905--the one-story brick box. The house was innovative at a time when local styles predominated, reflected in the influence of Victorian details, its broad proportions, the attention to the shingle patterning, the distinctive interior decoration, and including one of few out-houses in utah built of brick.
