Inscription.
Specialist Fourth Class Nulph, a teletype operator with Company A, Thirty-Seventh Signal Battalion, Twenty-First Signal Group, I Corps Tactical Zone Signal Group, was killed when the military vehicle in which he was a passenger hit a land mine near Hoi An, Quang Nam Province. Born in Massillon, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Nulph, he was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School and had been employed by Republic Steel. William Lee Nulph, Jr., is buried at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Massillon.
