1. Robert Damian Wuertz Marker
Private First Class Wuertz, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Wuertz of Massillon, died of a gunshot wound sustained while serving his country as an infantryman with Company C, Second Battalion, Fourth Marines, Third Marine Division, near Phu Bai. He was a 1963 Perry High School graduate and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Prior to entering the Marines, he attended The Ohio State University and worked for the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations in Columbus. Robert Wuertz is buried at St. Peter's Cemetery in Canton, Ohio.
