A letter is drafted to philanthropist Andrew Camegie requesting financial support in building a library.
September 23, 1901
Following a $25,000 donation from Mr. Carnegie, the cornerstone of the future library is laid on this site.
April 21, 1903
Ogden's Carnegie Free Library, a two-story sandstone structure, is dedicated.
February 3, 1969
Library is razed, ending a historical chapter of Ogden's past.
