Inscription.  German:
Hier land die Münze in uralten Zeiten das Genollenlchaftshaus der Münzer und hausgenollen weiland der reichstädtischen Patricier; von 1298-1340 zu Rathsuerlammlungen verwendet; zerltórt 1689; an des alten Gebäudes Stelle ward erbaut das Kaulhaus 1748.

English Translation:
Here once stood the mint in ancient times, the guild house of the coiners and their fellow guild members, formerly of the free imperial city's patricians. From 1298 to 1340, it was used for council assemblies; destroyed in 1689. On the site of the old building, the Kaufhaus (trading hall) was built in 1748.
