This Old Stone Church was built in 1893, and remained an active church for many years. In time, the original Cross Roads Congregation left for a larger facility, and in 1970 the building was donated to the Municipality of Monroeville by T.M. Sylves and Sarah Sylves Thompson. It is currently preserved as an historic landmark under the stewardship of the Monroeville Historical Society.
