Regarding 1939 House. One of more than 600 homes built in the “East End’s Exclusive New Development”, the "1939 House" was also known as the Good Housekeeping House, the All-Gas House, and the Williamsburg House. At same time the house was being built, a replica was in the "Homes of Tomorrow" section of the 1939 World's Fair in New York City. The house was designated a Pittsburgh Historic Landmark in 1998.
