1. The Farmhouse Marker
Inscription. This dog-trot cabin was originally built in the 1870s on the Parks family estate near Clayton, Tennessee. Used to preserve history since the 1970s, this cabin was donated by Janet Parks LaMarche in 1979 to the Obion County Museum in memory of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Edwards Parks. It was displayed at the Obion County Fairgrounds before being moved again to the Obion County Museum 's new location in 1986 and then its present location at Discovery Park in 2012.
