1. Central Grammer School Marker

Inscription. The display seen before you once stood in front of Central Grammer School of Union City. Built in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) on the grounds of the former Central School, it was home to grades one-six. Different combinations of grades were later offered, and the school was eventually closed in 2002. These structures were donated by the City of Union City in 2013.
