1. Settlement Pavilion Marker

Inscription. Donated by the Sims family and moved to Discovery Park in 2012, this nineteenth-century log barn houses a tool barn and hen house. A tool barn would have stored hand tools that were needed to work the farm. The hen house, built with reclaimed period hewn logs, was added to the structure in 2013. A portion of the building was converted into a pavilion area during a 2022 restoration project.
