1. Welcome to the Central Frontenac Railway Heritage Society Railway Displays Marker

Inscription.
Sharbot Lake was the intersection of the original Canadian Pacific Toronto to Montreal mainline and the Kingston & Pembroke Railway. You are now just east of where the lines separated after sharing a right of way from south of the village. See the Kiosk at the other end of the park for more information.

This caboose was purchased from CN in 2010 & has been restored / renovated to give an impression of its original use and to display a variety of artifacts. Fundraising by the CF Railway Heritage Society is ongoing.
