Inscription.  
1917-1922 von den Architekten Fritz Wellermann und Paul Frölich als Bankgebäude der Schröder- Bank im Stil der Weserrenaissance errichtet. Rückseitiger Bau an der Langenstraße bereits 1914 von den Architekten Heinrich W. Behrens und Friedrich Neumark für den Bremer Bankverein erbaut. 1988 Verbindung und Modernisierung der beiden Gebäude. 2001-03 Neubau eines Geschäfts- und Bürohauses unter Erhalt der historischen Fassaden durch das Bremer Architekturbüro Schomers, Schürmann und Partner.

Bank building constructed in 1917-1922 in regional renais- sance style (Weserrenaissance) by the architects Fritz Wellermann and Paul Frölich for the Schröder-Bank. The building at the back on Langenstraße was built in 1914 by the architects Heinrich W. Behrens and Friedrich Neumark for the Bremer Bankverein. In 1988 the two buildings were joined together and modernised. In 2001-03 a new busi- ness and office building was constructed keeping the his- torical facades by the firm of architects Schomers, Schürmann und Partner.
