The building has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1984. When Centers was an intern for Bedrock in 2016, his office was in the Globe Building. He did some research and found that while it was on the National Register of Historic Places, there wasnt a commemorative marker of that designation on the building itself.(Submitted on June 4, 2025, by J.T. As I had fallen in love with the building, there was an opportunity to showcase it a little more to the public, he said.
Centers brought up the idea of adding a marker to the property manager, who approved, and even gave Centers the honor of hanging the bronze plaque next to the buildings front door when it was completed.
