The AH-IG is a specialized fire support helicopter, powered by a 1,300 horse- power jet engine. It is the first U.S. helicopter to be designed as a gunship. This Cobra, Serial Number 70-16042, was transferred from the Arizona Army National Guard to the Utah Army National Guard in 1995 for the purpose of display at the Fort Douglas Military Museum.
