1. Corinthian Column Marker

Inscription. The Corinthian column that stands here was selected to celebrate and announce the entrance to our City Hall. The column represents a place of importance, strength, and signifies a place of the people. The Corinthian column is the most elaborate, sophisticated, and dignified of the Greek order, and since its introduction in the Temple of Apollo, the proper placement of the floral embellished column is as a focal point of importance and requires no accompaniment.
