Wieder aufgebaut nach dem Stadtbrand 1848, diente den brauberechtigten Bürgern zur Herstellung des sog. braunen Bieres. 1998/99 nach Privatisierung saniert.
Rebuilt after the city fire of 1848, it served the brewing-privileged citizens for the production of the so-called brown beer. In 1998/99, it was renovated after privatization.
