Nach dem bedeutendsten kath. Seelsorger des 18. Jahrhunderts in Bayreuth benannt 1738–1777. Ehemaliger Antiquitätensalon Gießel, errichtet 1864 an der ehemaligen Stadtmauer. Vollständig restauriert 1992. Begegnungsstätte der kath. Pfarrei der Schlosskirche.

English Translation:
Named after the most important Catholic pastor of the 18th century in Bayreuth 1738–1777. Former Gießel antique salon, built in 1864 on the site of the former city wall. Fully restored in 1992. Meeting place of the Catholic parish of the Palace Church
