Original use: War Department Theater
Current use: Not in use

Funded by the Work Relief Appropriations Act of 1937 under the War Department's Construction Program, this is one of many contemporary theaters erected at army posts throughout the United States around this time, largely for the purpose of showing films. It is the fort's second theater building and displays a Colonial Revival architectural style adapted to auditorium form.

[Caption:]
The movie theater was open evenings from Sunday to Thursday. Admission was 25 cents for adults and 18 cents for children under the age of 12. Top-rate features were presented and patrons were required to wear Class "A" uniforms or appropriate civilian attire.
