Welded sculpture in reclaimed metal by Joshua Sines, April 2020

These sculptures, created by local artist Joshua Sines, depict historical figure Meshach Browning taking aim at a buck and were created using reclaimed scrap metal parts such as automobile mufflers and concrete rebar.

Since 2013, Sines has been working with reclaimed metal to create sculptures with both abstract and naturalistic themes.

These pieces were commissioned through a Creativity Grant from the Maryland State Arts Council.

Marker is located at the trailhead for the Meshach Browning Trails which is at the end of the entrance road to Lions
