Inscription.
God's priesthood authority is restored. In 1829, Peter, James, and John--three of Jesus Christ's original Apostles--appeared to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery and gave them the Melchizedek Priesthood. This priesthood is the authority to act in God's name and was given by Christ to His Apostles anciently.

This event restored, or returned, God's authority to act in His name for the salvation of His children.
