Inscription.  French:

English:

board games such as "Merelle”, close to noughts and crosses, or "Alquerque”, an ancestor to the game of draughts. They also let their imagination run wild as they carved graffiti on the walls.

Between two of the castle's arrow slits, we can still admire a fine scene dated from the 13th century. It depicts an armed horseman, preceded by his sergeant, with his sword in his belt. Another graffiti just above this one dates from the 13th or early 14th century. It portrays an enthroned king receiving homage from one of his vassals.
