Inscription.
In 1903, the Wabash Depot was built on the north side of West North Street, using Queen Anne style architecture. When the Wabash Railroad donated the depot to the Moravia Area Historical Society in 1975, it was relocated to the south side of the street. Moravia's Wabash Depot, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is one of only two remaining standard plan wooden Wabash depots in Iowa.

Nearly unaltered on the interior and exterior, the exterior restoration was completed in 2021. Using an old photo for authenticity, the iconic trim was replicated by local craftsman, Bill Mullins, in 2022.

Erected by Moravia Historical Complex.
