Regarding City of Alhambra. "Don Benito" Wilson was the owner of Rancho San Pascual, he was Alhambra's founder, and the first mayor of Los Angeles.
The ranch land was named after a book, Tales of the Alhambra by Washington Irving, which he was inspired to write by his extended visit to the Alhambra palace in Granada, Spain.
