Bloomington in Monroe County, Indiana — The American Midwest (Great Lakes)
Third Street Grove
In response to devastation produced by the storms of May 2011, the Bloomington campus, and community at large, gave generously to ensure the restoration of Indiana University's beautiful woodland landscape. Hundreds of trees were destroyed within a few days, drastically changing the character of several of our most iconic landscapes. Here we recognize the commitment made to preserve the legacy of this special place.
Third Street Grove
As the formal southern edge of the campus and major community corridor, the trees here serve many as their first experience of the landscape within. The spring flower, summer shade, and fall color all await you in our campus in the woods.
