1. Garden City Bell Marker
Inscription. About 1896 this bell hung in a belfry on top of a little white church that stood on this very spot. It was rung thirty minutes before church and for fires and disasters. In 1926 the bell was broken during remodeling and put under the steps. The bell was found in 1977 when the church was torn down, and restored in 1996.
