The Strand Theater
In the mid-1980s, The Strand was left vacant and in decay. In 2002, The Strand Theatre initiative purchased it, and in 2009 reopened it as a center for the arts. Hollywood;s Debbie Reynolds capped off a week-long celebration with four concerts in July.
