Inscription. This Gothic Revival Structure is one of the best examples of the Scandinavian Pair House in Utah. Peterson, an early Logan carpenter and later planing mill owner, emigrated from Denmark c. 1861. He moved to Logan about 1863 and constructed his first residence, a log house, which was also located on this property. An 1867 report indicates that the Logan Second Ward organ was stored in the Peterson residence during the week and transported to the meeting house each Sunday.
