1. William & Martha Arbon Toombs House Marker
Inscription. Constructed c. 1894, the house is a good example of a wood frame Victorian Queen Anne style dwelling. The form is asymmetrical and major features include gable-end projections and a pyramidal turret. The home was built by William Toombs, a native of Northampton, England. He was employed as a roadmaster on a division of the Utah & Northern and Oregon Short Line Railroad. He spent the later years of his life as a rancher in northern Utah. The home retains its historic and architectural integrity and is an important contribution to Logan City's Center Street Historic District.
