155mm GPF Cannons
These 155mm GPF cannons of French design could fire a projectile 10-12 miles at a rate of two rounds per minute. This design was used by 10 different countries, including the US, in two World Wars (1917-1945). These surplus cannons were acquired from the former Black Hills Ordnance Depot at Igloo, SD, 8 miles south of Edgemont in 1946.
