1. Golden's No. 1 New Model Sorghum Mill Marker
Inscription. This Sorghum Mill was made by Goldens Foundry and Machine Co, of Columbus Georgia.

It was found on a farm in Gruetli Laager owned by Keith McBee and donated by him to Grundy County Historical Society Heritage Center. The base was designed and constructed by Ron Van Dyke. The sorghum mill was restored by Jamey Chernicky.

Sorghum cane was fed into the mill and ground to produce syrup by the rotation around the mill of a mule harnessed to the pole affixed to the crank at the top of the mill.
