Inscription. K. Matt Broman, the first superintendent of the N.P.C. School Of Horticulture 1936 to 1943, laid out the basic design for the school campus with its various gardens and impressive vistas, including the Rose Garden where this fountain is located. He formulated the first school curriculum with its sensitive balance of academics and practicals. An educator, a landscape architect, and man of vision and sensitivity, who truly cared for his environment.
 
Erected 1992 by Mrs. Beatrice Catherine Broman.
