Inscription.
The Armory building was used as a paper warehouse at least until the 1950s. The last tenant prior to a late-twentieth century rehabilitation of the building was the Thompson's Supply Company dealing with cleaning and janitorial products. Early plans for the adaptive reuse of the building included a 1979 plan to convert it into an art center with a 250-person capacity auditorium. In the late 1990s, new plans to rehabilitate the building for office space were initiated. In 2001, the rehabilitation was completed, with the restored red brick color matching the original finish.
