Durch Herzog Albrecht IV. von Bayern 1487 als Magazin des fόr Amberg und die Oberpfalz bestimmten Salzes errichtet. 1551 weitgehend Neubau durch die Stadt Regensburg. Seit 1992 Studentenherberge.
Built in 1487 by Duke Albrecht IV of Bavaria as a storehouse for salt destined for Amberg and the Upper Palatinate. Largely rebuilt by the city of Regensburg in 1551. Used as a student residence since 1992.
