In disem Haus von alter Art hat offt geruet nach langer fahrt herr Kayser Karl der Fόnfft genandt, in weiter, In alter weiter Jahr wohl bekannt, der hat auch die zue gueter stundt gekόsstet einer Jungkfrau mundt.

Dann draus erwuchs, dem Vatter gleich der Don Juan Von Oesterreich, der bey Lepanto in der Schlacht, Vernichtet hat der Tόrckhen Macht der Herr Vergellts Jhm alle Zeit, So yetzt wie auch in Ewigkheit.

Dieselb die hiess bei fern und nah, Man nur die schφne Barbara, Ihr Stamm war bieder, schlicht und recht Blumburger schrieb sich das Geschlecht, dort bracht des Kaysers Tieb viet Leid, doch trost und heyl der Christen halt.

English Translation:
In this house of ancient style often rested, after a long journey, Emperor Charles the Fifth by name, known far and wide in former times. And here, at a fitting hour, he kissed a maiden’s lips.

From this encounter, like his father, was born Don Juan of Austria, who at the Battle of Lepanto crushed the power of the Turks. May the Lord repay him always, now as in eternity.

 John of Austria. Wikipedia
John of Austria (24 February 1547 – 1 October 1578) was the illegitimate son of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor. Charles V recognized him in a codicil to his will. John became a military leader in the service of his half-brother, King Philip II of Spain, Charles V's heir, and was addressed to as a Don. He is best known for his role as the admiral of the Holy League fleet at the Battle of Lepanto and as Governor of the Spanish Netherlands.
