known as the Second Empire Residence, and part of the Orleans County Courthouse Historic District (added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 31, 1979), the home was designed by local architect William V. N. Barlow. Built in 1879, this home features a mansard roof and hexagonal tower. It is a standout example of Second Empire architecture.
