The Secretariat established its own Supply Service in the autumn of 1944 and in December the flower shop at Uranienborgveien 9 was rented, which was nicknamed "Butikken".

"Butikken" assisted, among others, Sivorg, Milorg and XU, as well as employees from other civilian groups and organizations, and selected people who were waiting for transport to Sweden. Food and other equipment were delivered from the Supply Committee via several wholesalers and larger stores, before being driven out to smaller storage units in Oslo. Through the Deaf Church led by deaf priest Conrad Bonnevie Svendsen, they also received supplies from the Danish Aid and the Swedish Aid. Supplies were driven out of the shop every day by a driver from Hjula Væveri and one of the two shop employees. "Butikken"
