Inscription. In 1878, Donald McEachern, Merchant, purchased the building. His store was known as the Clifford Emporium. Other owners: 1898 Henry Eckenswiller, Merchant, 1918 Edward Eckenswiller, Dry Goods, then Avery and Mossberg, 1939 Roy and Edna Bonham, Dry Goods & Grocery. The building was spared from the devastating fire of 1942, due to the brick fire wall. 1974 Max Held, Hardware, 1986 J & H Hardware & Computers, 1996 David Keast & Pat Murray, Pizzerria, 2008 Randy Ruetz, Insurance Broker, 2013 Miller Insurance.
