With sorrowful hearts we mourn the senseless loss of thousands of innocent lives twenty years ago. Our love of country has only strengthened our resolve to support the land of our Pilgrim's pride".
In reflective quiet, and heartfelt gratitude, we dedicate this remembrance to the 383 first responders who showed total devotion to their duty on September 11, 2001. Currently serving first responders continue to carry the torch of our heroes of 9/11, and as citizens of Fayette county, we say "Thank You" for your selfless service.
"No day shall erase you from the memory of time."
Erected 2021 by Uniontown Mayor Bill Gerke and Members of the City Council.
