1. Market Square Marker
Inscription. In the early days of Blyth, the corner of Dinsley and Queen was known as "Market Square." During harvest time as many as 50 horse-drawn wagons would be waiting in line on Queen Street waiting to sell their grain. At other times of the year it would be the site of horse auctions.
