Restoration made possible by a grant from the Alex Stern Family Foundation, given in memory of Alex Stern, Bertha Stern, William Stern, Sam Stern, Helen Stern and Edward A. Stern, A. M. Eriksmoen, Executive Director.
The building, formerly the Hagemeister School No. 2, District 31, Berlin Township, Cass County, abandoned for school purposes, was donated by the land owner, Mr. Fred Gavin of Absaraka N.D. and moved by the Cass County Historical society to Bonanzaville, U. S. A.
The beautiful court house clock tower bell was designated for preservation at Bonanzaville by the Cass County Commission in 1978.
