1. Sullivan Shortwall Machine Marker
Inscription. Attached to "jackpipes" (vertical posts anchored between the mine roof & floor), the shortwall was used to undercut the coal prior to blasting. This machine was last used in the O'Connor Mine near Clear Creek, Utah.
