Inscription. This two-story, stucco, commercial building was constructed in 1922 and originally owned by Charles A. Bertolino. The main level interior was divided to allow for two separate businesses. The north side housed the Athens Restaurant, which was operated by John Botauakis. On the south side was the Krissman Shoe Shop, operated by John Krissman. Rooms on the second story were rented by Union Pacific Railway workers. In 1943 Kenneth L. Mower purchased the building for use as a laundry. In 1965 the Mutual Furniture and Hardware Company purchased the building for use as storage space. In 1994 Pineau S. and David E. Nielsen purchased the building and opened a tumbling and trampoline gym.
