Inscription. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey.
After 4 year U.S. Navy career (1942-45), joined N.Y. Yankees running tryout camps throughout the east.

After 1947 stint on Newark Bears (I.L.) staff, spent 1948-49 as Business Manager of successful Norfolk Tars operation.

Outstanding General Manager in Yankee system (1950-59) at Amsterdam, N.Y., West Palm Beach, FLA., Schenectady, N.Y. and Richmond, VA. in the International League.

Record of achievements brought him post as Yankee Traveling Secretary (1960-72) during exciting years including 5 World Series appearances.

Opted for position as General Manager at Ft. Lauderdale in 1973, then semi-retired to run Yankees Spring Training stadium operations for many seasons, residing in Ocala, FLA.
