1. GE Steam Turbine Marker
Inscription. This GE Steam Turbine was built in Schenectady, NY and was commissioned in 1976 for Unit 2 of the Huntington Plant and it was in service until 1998. During that time, this turbine was used to produce 3.6 million megawatt hours of electricity. It was designed to take 3.3 million pounds per hour of 1005 degree superheated steam at 2400 PSI, while rotating at 3600 RPM, producing 450 continuous megawatts. Made of steel, it weighs approximately 22 tons.
