No. 670
The Masonic Lodge No. 670 was chartered in 1962. The Order of the Eastern Star was chartered on October 28, 1963. The building and Lot were sold to Perryville Lodge No. 670 and dedicated on December 7, 1969. Membership steadily increased from sixty - five in 1969, seventy - four in 1973, and eighty - eight in 1982, and is currently still occupied by the Lodge in 2024.
The Masons meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month except July and August which are dark. The Eastern Star Chapter # 46 meets on the 2nd and 4 Tuesday of the month. Also dark during July and August. The Lodge once chartered meetings up stairs of the Dr. Morton building on the square from 1962 - 1969 before they moved to this location.
